UNIQSO Lolita Split Wig Review (Sponsored)

Hey you guyyys
It's almost halloween now! Do you have any special plans?
I'll be dressing up (even if I'm not sure yet as what)
and go to a korean karaoke bar with some friends :)

Also I finally have another review for you (sadly not halloween related)  ^^
It's sponsored by UNIQSO again, but this time I won't be reviewing
circle lenses, but a wig! Also I'll show you a quick
tutorial for a hairstyle that works with the wig.

For all of you who didn't know this: UNIQSO don't only have a large
variety of circle lenses, but also a lot of different wigs, suitable
for daily use, cosplay, lolita and many other occasions.

This is the wig I'll be reviewing for you, the

It has a lovely blonde-pink color and comes
with two clip in ponytails.
Furthermore the information states that it's around
50cm long ans consists of 100% heat resistant fibre.

That's how the wig looks!
I already cut the bangs since as you can see in the
picture they are really long >v<

The curls are so so beautiful I fell in love with them instantly!
Have a closeup of them *3*

Here's the inside of the wig. It's adjustable to your
head circumference.

Those are the ponytails. They are super massive
and kinda heavy, but still very pretty.

Here are some things that I noticed right away
which were bothering me about the wig.

First: the thickness.
It's kinda thin and if you don't watch out your real hair and
the wig cap will shine through, especially if you have
a darker hair color.

Second: the processing of the ponytails.
They have those weird rubber bands and I have
absolutely no clue if they are there for any purpose?!
If so, please don't hesitate to tell me....

Okay, so much for the wig itself, now I'll show you how
it looks when worn ^^

Unfortunately my camera randomly decided to not
save some of my pictures where I had the twin tails,
so please excuse the crappy quality =A=

That's what I meant with the twin tails being huuuuge!
I'm like 80% hair in the left picture xD
The right one is from a local convention and in my opinion
it shows very well how good the wig fits into lolita coords.
Of course only if you like sweet lolita but yeah, I think it looks good ^^

Before I'll show you the tutorial I'll quickly
rate the wig :)

Design: 5/5
Super adorable and I love it to bits!

Quality: 3.5/5
The wig cap / the wig itself is really super
thin and I while wearing I had to fix the "holes"
where you could see my hair quite often ;  ;

Accuracy: 5/5
Just like the stock picture. No complaints ^.^

Overall rating: 4/5
Even if I'm not very convinced of the quality
I still adore the design and the way the wig looks
when you wear it. That's why I only take off one point
from the total rating.

Now here's the fun part: the tutorial! *3*
I'll show you how to get this look:
It's really simple and quick to do and looks
very cute ^.^
I will show you what to do for one side and
you can just repeat it for the other one.

Step 1:
Separate one strand from the rest of the wig. If you
want pin it in place on your head to keep it
separated.

Step 2:
Separate the hair where the color split is.
Secure the other side you're not working on
by tying it with a hair tie.
For the other side, part it into three strands just like this

Step 3:
Start braiding your hair and tie it with
a hair tie when you're done :)
It's best to use a thin hair tie that matches the hair
color, but I'll use black so you can see it better.

Step 4:
Flip the braid backwards to your head like
this and pin it in place with a bobby pin.

And that's it, you're done! :)
Easy right?

I myself put on this beret and a star hair pin ^.^

That's it again for today, I hope you liked
the review and the tutorial as well. If you try out the style
please send me a picture here on on my tumblr or on twitter *-*

I hope you'll have a wonderful day and a nice
